The story behind BlueGuard
As is often the case, the best stories begin with a dog. In our case, it was a street dog in Bulgaria. We couldn't just stand by and do nothing, so we rescued the stray.
Thus began a wonderful journey that ultimately led to the creation of BlueGuard. We didn't just rescue one dog; first we rescued five, then 12, then 38, and eventually many more. Many rescued street cats also joined us. So, in 2011, we founded the animal welfare association Streunerhilfe Bulgarien eV (Stray Help Bulgaria), and with the help of many wonderful people, we've managed to find new homes for thousands of dogs and cats over the years. We paid careful attention to properly securing the dogs and used escape-proof harnesses.
The BlueGuard story began with the realization that high-quality safety harnesses should be far more than just functional—they should combine comfort, style, and safety at every moment. Thus, the BlueGuard brand was born. We're all about the special moments between humans and dogs. We want every walk and every adventure to be safe, comfortable, and carefree—that's why we developed our dog harnesses.
We place great emphasis on high-quality materials, meticulous craftsmanship, and a design that is both functional and stylish. Our goal is to make life easier for dogs and their owners – with products that bring joy and last.
